Hi, I'm Shobhit

I have worked for over five years in the tech industry after my undergraduate degree in engineering from IIT Bombay. I took a 2 year break to reflect, learn, and meet new people. Here are my realizations:

I feel most joyful when I help spread joy in people's lives. I am fascinated by technology and how its potential can be leveraged to create delight. I realized this while at Finmechanics, a B2B fintech firm where I put on different hats as a developer, consultant, and product manager. My transitions were motivated by my desire to be closer to users and solve bigger problems. Over time, I wanted to see the broader picture clearly to make better decisions and felt I could do so by understanding business. I went to do an MBA from the University of Michigan, where I sharpened different lenses of strategy, marketing, and leadership. I experimented with different aspects of business and products through multiple internships in different contexts (bootstrapped startup, scaleup, large company), where I researched market landscapes, built 0-1 early-stage products, and grew early-stage products. I realized I love shaping tech products and businesses - building, growing, and connecting the dots to make things work in sync.

I want to spend the next chapter of my life honing my craft to solve interesting problems and work with people whose company I enjoy.
